Aria - Branding & Website
Case Study
Aria is a conceptual, home-first speaker brand designed for people who value minimal, calm, and thoughtfully designed objects in their living spaces. I led the brand identity and website UI design, translating the brand’s philosophy into a refined, modern digital experience.

Challenge
Most consumer audio brands visually lean toward aggressive, tech-heavy aesthetics or loud premium styling. This often makes products feel intrusive in calm, domestic environments. The challenge with Aria was to design a brand and website experience that communicates quality and confidence without visual noise—allowing the product to blend naturally into modern homes rather than dominate them.
Results
As a conceptual project, success was measured through clarity, consistency, and execution quality rather than quantitative metrics.
A clearly articulated brand philosophy translated into a cohesive digital presence
A calm, premium website UI that reinforces trust and approachability
A scalable visual system that could extend across future products and touchpoints
Visual restraint and negative space as core brand principles
Brand narrative communicated through layout and hierarchy
Every design decision evaluated for domestic relevance
Process
Brand Exploration: I explored how sound products can visually behave like everyday home objects drawing inspiration from furniture, lighting, and architectural forms rather than traditional electronics.
Visual Language: A restrained palette, soft gradients, rounded forms, and generous spacing were used to reflect calmness, warmth, and acoustic smoothness.
Website UI Design: I designed high-fidelity website layouts focusing on:
Clear hierarchy and spacious composition
Scroll-based storytelling rather than spec-heavy content
Subtle interaction intent to maintain a premium, composed experience
Conceptual Interactions: Static and motion-based UI explorations were created to communicate interaction behavior, without moving into development or engineering handoff.
Conclusion
Aria demonstrates how restraint, clarity, and intention can elevate a consumer electronics brand. By treating the speaker as a domestic object rather than a tech statement, the brand and website work together to create a calm, trustworthy, and modern experience. This project highlights my approach to brand-to-digital translation and visual judgment.
